Extrusion Services
Esco Precision supplies custom extruded aluminum and plastic profiles — managing die design, extrusion, cut-to-length, and secondary machining so you receive finished profile components ready to use.
Extrusion pushes heated material through a shaped die to produce a continuous profile with a constant cross-section — an efficient way to manufacture rails, channels, frames, heat sinks, and custom shapes in long or cut lengths. Once the die exists, per-foot cost is low and the cross-section is highly repeatable, which makes extrusion economical for both structural and enclosure components.
We support custom die design tailored to your cross-section, advising on wall thickness, radii, and tolerances that extrude cleanly and hold shape. Aluminum extrusions can be supplied mill-finish, anodized, or powder-coated; plastic profiles are available in a range of engineering and commodity polymers.
Extruded lengths are cut to size and then machined as needed — drilling, milling, tapping, notching, and mitering — under our ISO 9001:2015 system, so profiles arrive fabricated to print rather than as raw stock. This integration is where Esco adds value: one supplier for the extrusion and every downstream operation.
Whether you need an anodized aluminum heat sink, a structural frame rail, or a custom plastic channel, we manage the profile from die through finished, inspected part.

Frequently asked questions
Can you design a custom extrusion die for my profile?
Yes. We support custom die design for your cross-section and advise on wall thickness, radii, and tolerances that extrude cleanly and hold shape, so the profile is both manufacturable and economical.
Do you extrude both aluminum and plastic?
Yes. We supply aluminum profiles (mill-finish, anodized, or powder-coated) and plastic profiles in materials such as rigid PVC, polycarbonate, ABS, nylon, and acetal.
Can extruded profiles be machined and cut to length?
Yes. We cut profiles to size and perform secondary machining — drilling, milling, tapping, notching, and mitering — so parts arrive fabricated to print rather than as raw extruded stock.
What finishes are available on aluminum extrusions?
Aluminum extrusions can be supplied mill-finish, anodized in a range of colors, or powder-coated, depending on the appearance, corrosion, and wear requirements of your application.
